What follows is a d100 table of premade wilderness encounters. You can use these every now and then to provide ready-made events for your PCs.
Alternately, you can use the tables in Chapter 16 to generate an infinite number of random encounters.
Some of the encounters listed below will result in quests, the generation of which is covered in Chapter 7. Other rolls will result in a monster being encountered, which will take you to Chapter 16.
The encounters below have been somewhat left open-ended so that there is potential for them to be different every time. Use The Oracle (Chapter 2) to fill in the details.
Or, you could use the Story Element Interaction tables (Chapter 14) to spice things up a bit.
